The simulator represents the human upper body, including the unit with integrated vascular simulators: of the subclavian and internal jugular veins, subclavian and common carotid arteries.
The simulator is made of the material that visually and palpatory imitates the human tissue, it has the system to supply the liquid that simulates the blood.
The simulator is designed to practice the acquisition and interpretation of the information concerning the blood vessels condition, to determine their route, to insert and navigate the needle using the ultrasound device, to move and position the detector. In addition to the visualization on the monitor of the ultrasound device, the liquid supply system shows the entering of the needle into the blood vessel. For the simulation of the arteries pulsation, the simulator is equipped with a hand pump.
The simulator is designed to improve the effectiveness of the training of the students, residents and clinicians during the certification and accreditation.
