It represents a model of the human head on the stand with realistic anterior chambers of the eyes. The simulator is designed to practice the diagnostics of the retinal pathology. Using the ophthalmoscope it allows you to simulate the retinal examination. The images are transmitted using the interchangeable slides placed at the posterior chambers of the eyes. The pathologies that are presented on the slides: - retinal vein occlusion; - central retinal artery occlusion; - cytomegalovirus retinitis; - optic nerve head drusen; - glaucoma; - myelinated retinal nerve fiber layer; - myopic eye; - optic nerve atrophy; - proliferative (diabetic) retinopathy; - pigmented retinitis. The opportunity to examine both eyes has been implemented, which allows you to compare the normal image with the pathology. The slides are supplied with the various pathological pictures.
