The simulator represents a model of a part of the child's neck with anatomical landmarks of the anterior fragments of the genian part, with the reconstructed external relief of the organs for the cricothyrotomy. The thyroid and cricoid cartilages, the cricothyroid ligament, and the upper tracheal cartilages serve as the necessary landmarks for this operation. The procedure area is marked as an easily replaceable interchangeable unit. The simulator is designed to improve the effectiveness of the training of the students, residents and clinicians during the certification and accreditation.
